What is the symbol of Samarkand? I wanna view what's specific for this southeast reign.(give a different answer) .
The complex of mausoleums Shah-I-Zinda, dating back to the unmerciful Tamerlane rule, is fairly what gave the town the nickname of "City of the Dead". They are the symbols, showcasing master works of terracotta, majolica and tiles. The oldest constructions are those of the conqueror's wives, niece, and sisters (14th century), but the one pilgrims come to greet is the tomb of Prophet Mohammed's cousin. Breathe the holy air!
